Eddie Sundra

Eddie Sundra is currently the 2nd and Assistant Principal Clarinetist of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and principal clarinetist of the Lima Symphony in Ohio. He has also made recent ap-pearances with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Sarasota Orchestra, and Ann Arbor Symphony, along with other Michigan orchestras. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Eddie received de-grees in performance and chamber music from the Pennsylvania State University (B.M.) and the University of Michigan (M.M.), under the tutelage of Dr. Anthony Costa, Dan Gilbert, and Chad Burrow. Eddie has spent summers at the Aspen Festival, Eastern Music Festival, and Thy Chamber Music Festival in Aalborg, Denmark.

Eddie is also an active composer of chamber music and electronic music–some of which is available for purchase at Potenza Music. He enjoys collaborative projects, such as incorporat-ing music with photography, dance, and creative lighting in order to create a more engaging mu-sical narrative.
