Dr. David Stambler, Professor of Saxophone, and Dr. Anthony Costa, Professor of Clarinet, will co-host the Penn State Single Reed Summit on November 9 and 10, 2012 at the Penn State School of Music. Guest Artists will include The Capitol Quartet, Wildy Zumwalt, Professor of Saxophone at S.U.N.Y. Fredonia, Deborah Bish, Professor of Clarinet at Florida State University, the Penn State Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Dennis Glocke conducting, The Pennsylvania Quintet, and numerous regional performers. This event will include two days of performances, master classes, lectures, chamber music, the Lyle Merriman High School and College performance competitions, vendors and several world premieres. Please join us on Penn State’s University Park campus for this exciting display of clarinet and saxophone artistry.
