Kathy Gattuso Cinatl
Kathy Gattuso Cinatl holds Doctoral, Masters, and Bachelors degrees in Piano Performance from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where she studied with Dr. Karen Shaw. Prior to moving to State College, she taught on the music faculties of Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska, Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and Houston Baptist University in Houston, Texas. Dr. Cinatl is an active collaborative pianist, performing for faculty and guest artist recitals and master classes, as well as accompanying over 70 Penn State music students each semester. She is also a frequent audition and conference pianist, and has served as an official accompanist for various events including Penn State Flute Day, the Cleveland State University Trombone Seminar, the Eastern Division MTNA Competitions, and the 2012 Single Reed Summit.
