Gail Zugger

Gail Lehto Zugger is in her 20th year as tenured professor of clarinet and chair of Woodwinds at Capital University in Columbus, OH. She also teaches summers at International Music Camp in North Dakota, is principal clarinet of the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra and second clarinet of the Ashland Symphony Orchestra. She regularly presents clinics at state NAfME conferences around the US and performed at the International Clarinet Association’s ClarinetFest in Lincoln, NE. Dr. Zugger holds degrees from Ohio State University and University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee and her former teachers include James Pyne, Russell Dagon and Jack Snavely.
